Connect with “The Sing-Off” Competitors for Season 4

Is everyone as excited as we are about the upcoming Season 4 of The Sing-Off or what?! For those of you who don’t know, The Sing-Off is a reality show competition for a cappella singing groups, and it’s kind of been in limbo since Pentatonix won Season 3 in 2011.  But this December, it’s BAAACCKK!

Now that NBC has officially made their announcement (whew!), we are happy to share our compilation of group information and contacts so you can get to know the groups in advance.

If you don’t want to individually follow all the Twitter accounts, you can just subscribe to our AcaSingOff Twitter list that does it for you.

Please keep in mind that errors in this post are entirely our own doing, and we are more than happy to make corrections, changes, or additions if you notify us!

Another Ivy League tradition, the Footnotes tout themselves as the providers of “fresh, all-male a cappella” to Princeton University since 1959.

6.  HOME FREE
Home Free was formed in 2000 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp. Billed as the world’s first country a cappella group, Home Free also comes to The Sing-Off as the only full-time, professional group in the competition.

8.  TEN
10 professional singers in the music business from Dallas who got together for the show.  Why the name Ten (besides the obvious)?  According to the group, “The number 10 means completion and perfection of God’s divine order.”  Having seen them perform, we say: “Awesome gospel vibe.”

9.  VOCAL RUSH
We’ve been fans of Vocal Rush pretty much since they started in 2011. Based out of the Oakland School for the Arts (California), these high school students (!) have been the ICHSA (International Championship of High School A Cappella) champs the past two years they’ve been in existence. Go buy their debut EP, The Beginning, and do it now.
